Stone Farm Film Location is a beautiful, rural location for film and television in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. A convenient 60 miles from New York City via I-78, the site features a 250-year-old stone farmhouse, a barn, a pond, and 15 acres of woods, gardens, and streams. The wooded land includes a wide path. This property is available for film, television and advertising productions seeking a rustic or historic Americana setting.

The 3000 square foot house features a living room with 1.5 foot thick stone walls, a pre-Revolutionary war walk-in fire place, exposed beams, and wide plank floors. The 19th century barn is composed of stone and redwood plank. The property also includes a small stone springhouse. The property is adjacent to protected state land to the east, a horse farm to the west, and a tree nursery across the street, creating a sanctuary for birds and wild life.

  • Stone Farm provided us with beautiful farmhouse interiors and garden exteriors conveniently in one location. There is an undeniable peaceful magic to the space and surrounding wildness that manifested itself beautifully in our short film. Anne and her team were wonderful, welcoming hosts who provided us with everything we needed while still allowing the space and freedom to create.

  • Shooting at Stone Farm location was a blessing, not only for the beauty of the site and the production value to our movie, but because they helped make things very easy for the production and the whole team felt at home.

From deep woods to a beautiful private lake, from an old looking barn to a cozy and warm stone house, if you need something like this for your story, and you are shooting around New York City, Stone Farm is the perfect place for your production.

  • I love Stone Farm! In addition to the evident beauty of the house and the property itself, the surrounding area sports some of the most exquisite reservoir views I can think of this close to New York City. Whether you’re looking for traditional idyllic natural vistas in the summer or hauntingly gorgeous winter woodland, this area has true character year-round. And of course the Stone Farm team is a total pleasure to work with – reasonable, accommodating, generous, everything a filmmaker could ask for in location representatives. Can’t wait to shoot there again.
